One of the recipes in The Cake Book will be Butter Cake, which means I need an interesting recipe. This weekend I tried Dan Lepard’s All Purpose Easy Butter Cake.

I followed the recipe, adding 25g extra flour as I didn’t have cornflour, and baked in a round, bundt-type silicone tin for c.60 minutes at 180C in a ‘normal’ oven.
